How to Use Volume I¶
Volume I teaches readers how trustworthy intelligent systems are engineered before they enter sustained operation.
This volume establishes the engineering foundation upon which operational trust is built.
Readers new to software engineering are encouraged to progress sequentially through the chapters.
Experienced practitioners may selectively navigate to planning, architecture, implementation, governance, or release topics based upon immediate needs.
By the end of Volume I, readers should be able to:
- Define system requirements
- Design architectures
- Plan engineering work
- Control AI participation
- Produce repository evidence
- Conduct engineering reviews
- Prepare trustworthy releases
Volume I concludes when systems are ready to enter operational environments.
Operational trust then becomes the focus of Volume II.
